About Samambaia
Samambaia is the photographer-favourite of the Raja Ampat dive liveaboard fleet — a 40-metre phinisi with seven cabins for fourteen guests, purpose-built dive operation, and reputation among serious underwater photographers as the boat that prioritises shoot-time over schedule. Dedicated camera room with charging stations, drying area, and photographer-friendly tender operations.
Three resident dive guides maintain 1:3 ratio during regular operations, 1:2 during workshop bookings. Full Nitrox membrane, 32+ tank storage, dedicated camera-housing handling protocols. Onboard cuisine reflects local Indonesian flavours executed by an experienced chef. The vessel runs both northern Raja Ampat (Dampier-Wayag) and southern Misool itineraries across the October–April season.
