Pack waterproof colouring books and identification cards for tropical fish. Children who can identify species become obsessed with snorkeling — they turn every swim into a treasure hunt, spotting clownfish, parrotfish, and reef sharks like naturalists. Our crew carries laminated reef identification sheets in multiple languages.
The Right Vessel
The ideal family charter yacht has 4-5 cabins, accommodating 8-12 guests. Parents get their own master suite with privacy. Children get their own cabin (which they think is the greatest thing ever — sleeping on a boat). Room for grandparents, extended family, or a nanny.

We welcome children of all ages aboard. For snorkeling, we recommend age 6 and above when children can comfortably use a mask and snorkel. Younger children enjoy the yacht experience — kayaking, beach play, and wildlife watching from the deck — without entering the water independently.
Sorong has a regional hospital with basic emergency capabilities. All vessels carry comprehensive first aid kits and satellite phones for emergency communication. For serious medical events, helicopter evacuation to Makassar or Jakarta can be arranged. Travel insurance with medical evacuation coverage is mandatory for all guests.
Absolutely. Our chefs regularly prepare child-friendly meals alongside adult gourmet dining. Allergies, intolerances, and preferences are documented before the charter and accommodated at every meal.
