Liveaboard Questions
Liveaboards sell individual cabins on scheduled departures — you share the vessel with other guests on a fixed itinerary. Private charters give you exclusive use of the entire vessel with a fully customisable route. Liveaboards are more affordable per person; charters offer complete privacy and flexibility.
Typically 3-4 dives per day including an optional night dive. Dawn dives available at select sites. Luxury vessels offer more flexibility with dive scheduling. Rest days with 2 dives allow for island exploration and snorkeling.
All liveaboards provide full equipment — BCD, regulator, tanks, weights, wetsuit. However, experienced divers often prefer their own regulators, computers, and masks for fit and familiarity. 3mm or 5mm wetsuits recommended.
Yes. Every vessel offers world-class snorkeling, kayaking, island exploration, and relaxation. Raja Ampat's shallow reefs offer snorkeling experiences that rival many destinations' diving. Many guests are non-divers who have extraordinary experiences.
