Raja Ampat Luxury Scuba Diving Package 2026 — 3-Day to 10-Day Liveaboard

TL;DR: Choose your duration: 3, 5, 7, or 10 days. Nitrox included, 18–25 total dives per trip. Our luxury liveaboards cost $3,500–$9,000 per cabin.
Juara Holding Group operates 50+ vessels with direct booking and no hidden fees.

A liveaboard isn’t just accommodation on water—it’s a philosophy. Wake to dolphins, dive before breakfast, spend the day exploring walls and reefs,
surface as sunset paints the sky orange. In 2026, our liveaboard fleet offers this rhythm with genuine luxury. Climate control, hot showers, edible food, and a cabin to yourself.
Not camping with a regulator.

We operate liveaboard packages at four durations. Each covers different water, depths, and dive counts. Shorter trips (3–5 days) focus on Dampier Strait and the northern islands,
perfect for those short on time. Longer itineraries (7–10 days) venture to Misool’s remote corners and the 75% of world coral species living in our region.
The choice depends on your schedule, budget, and appetite for time underwater.

What Makes Our Liveaboards Better Than Competitors

Counter Cruising Indonesia aggregates boats—you book through them, they book through a local operator. We are the local operator. Juara Holding Group owns the fleet,
trains the crew, maintains the vessels, and sets our own schedule. That means faster decision-making, consistent quality, and genuine customer relationships.

Counter’s cheapest 7-day option is €2,650 (~$2,850 USD). Ours starts at $3,500. But compare: we include nitrox, they charge extra. Our price covers all meals and beverages;
most others add wine and beer surcharges. We offer private cabin options; many liveaboards still use shared bunks. And we have capacity across 50+ vessels—when one books full,
you have alternatives.

Nitrox, Air Fills, and Dive Planning on Our Liveaboards

Nitrox is included with every liveaboard package. Most operators charge $100–$150 extra for certified divers. We mix it on-site, free. You bring your C-card proving nitrox
certification; we handle the mix and fills.

We conduct dive briefings at 7 AM before the first descent and between dives. Our dive masters review current direction, depth, marine life likelihood, and safety protocols.
Decompression stops are mandatory on deeper dives; we carry oxygen kits aboard. Air and nitrox fills happen between every dive, so you never run short. Each diver gets a personal
tank if desired, or we rotate tanks for those comfortable sharing. The choice is yours.

Cabin Comfort and Vessel Details

Our three-tier fleet reflects pricing tiers. Budget liveaboards offer bunk cabins with porthole windows, shared bathrooms, and communal shower blocks. Think clean,
functional, no frills. Mid-tier vessels include private cabins with en-suite heads and hot water. Luxury-tier liveaboards feature ocean-view cabins, premium linens,
minibar, personal climate control, and spa services. All tiers have sun decks, shade areas, and common lounges with 24/7 tea and coffee.

Seasickness? We operate year-round partly because we choose calmest routes. Still concerned? Our medical kit includes patches and medication. Motion sickness pills are best
started 12 hours before departure.

Food is cooked fresh daily aboard. Breakfast buffets, lunch after morning dives, snacks and soft drinks available constantly, dinner at 6 PM. We accommodate vegetarian and
pescatarian diets with advance notice. Alcohol is purchasable at retail markup, not included.

How Liveaboard Routes Differ by Trip Length

3-day trips don’t stray far from Sorong or Kri. You dive Dampier Strait, Arborek, Sawandarek, and Yeben. Ideal for certification breaks, tight schedules, and testing your
tolerance for liveaboard life without major commitment.

5-day trips expand northward. We hit Cape Kri, which demands 3–4 hours transit from Sorong but rewards you with 374 documented fish species in a single dive. Time in water
is what you came for—5 days gives you 12–14 dives without rushing back.

7-day trips venture to Misool. The southern wall is taller than anything in the north and hosts pelagic visitors October through April. Batanta Island and the Dampier complex
round out a comprehensive sampler. By day six, you’re reading the underwater landscape like locals: where the current pulls life, where turtles hide, where manta rays appear.

10-day trips add the remote western islands and deeper wall dives reserved for technical certification. The 1,500+ fish species and 75% coral species found here feel less
like facts and more like tangible abundance.

Included and Extra Costs on Our Liveaboards

Package includes: all meals, diving, nitrox, air fills, cabin, and crew. Does NOT include: alcohol, equipment rental, spa treatments, photography guides, and the two
park permits. Equipment rental is $150–$250 per week. Marine Park Permit costs IDR 700,000 (~$45 USD). Visitor entry is IDR 300,000 (~$19 USD). Gratuity for crew is customary
(10–15% of trip cost, split among guides and deck crew) but not mandatory.

That’s the full accounting. No surprise charges on final invoices.

Comparing Liveaboard vs. Private Yacht Charter

Factor Liveaboard Private Yacht Charter
Per-Person Cost (7 days) $3,500–$5,200 (shared cabin) $3,500–$7,000 (private charter)
Group Size 8–20 divers typical 2–8 divers typical
Sociability Meet divers from worldwide Just your friends/family
Schedule Flexibility Fixed dates Custom dates available
Dive Site Coverage Operator-planned routes Negotiable with crew
Cabin Privacy Budget tiers are shared Private cabins standard

Neither is objectively better. Liveaboards are social and economical. Private charters are flexible and intimate. Our 50+ vessel fleet lets us offer both.

FAQ: Liveaboard Concerns and Answers

What if I get seasick?

Our routes avoid rough seas. We plan departures for calm windows and choose anchorages in protected bays. Medication before boarding helps. Tell your dive master if you’re
struggling; we adjust the dive schedule.

Can I book a single cabin instead of sharing?

Yes. Single cabin upgrade is $500–$1,500 depending on vessel and duration. Available on most departures; check with our team.

Is Wi-Fi available aboard?

Limited. Satellite internet is slow and expensive; we have it for emergencies only. This is partly why people love liveaboards—a genuine disconnect.

What’s the maximum dive depth on liveaboards?

We respect certification limits. Advanced open water divers can descend to 30 meters. Deeper dives require tech certification. Most of Raja Ampat’s best dive sites are 15–25 meters,
comfortably within Open Water limits.

Do liveaboards depart every week?

Typically 1–2 departures per week depending on season. We post a full 2026 schedule on our liveaboard page.

Can non-divers join a liveaboard?

Yes. Snorkeling is included on most trips at no extra cost. We have some snorkel-only itineraries as well. Ask when booking.

Are dives guided or can we dive buddy-only?

All dives are guided. Our dive masters stay with groups of 4–6 divers maximum. If you prefer independent diving, a private charter is better suited.
