This expedition explores Misool’s mirror-flat lagoons, ancient rock art caves dating back 5,000 years, and a private marine reserve where 20 years of protection have created some of Indonesia’s healthiest reefs.

7-Day Misool Expedition Route

Days 1-2: Transit from Sorong with en-route dive sites. Arrival in Misool region.

Days 3-5: Deep Misool exploration: lagoon systems, rock art caves, Boo Windows, Magic Mountain, Whale Rock, Nudi Rock, private marine reserve diving/snorkeling.

Days 6-7: Return north with additional sites. Wayag stop if time permits. Disembark Sorong.

Highlights

September to June for Misool region. Avoid July-August when southern seas can be rough.
