Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our luxury cruises, liveaboard diving, and planning your Raja Ampat adventure.

The best time to visit Raja Ampat is during the dry season from October to April. During this period, the weather is more stable with calm seas, making it ideal for diving, snorkeling, and island hopping. November to March offers the best visibility underwater.

You'll fly to Sorong, the gateway city in West Papua. From major Indonesian cities like Jakarta or Bali, take a domestic flight to Sorong. Once there, you can board our luxury cruise directly from the harbor. Airport-to-vessel transfers are included in most of our packages.

Not necessarily. While many of our packages are designed for certified divers, we also welcome non-divers and snorkelers. Raja Ampat offers incredible snorkeling opportunities with shallow reefs teeming with marine life. We can also arrange PADI certification courses.

Our packages typically include premium cabin accommodation, all meals and refreshments, unlimited diving or snorkeling, professional dive guides and crew, equipment rental, land excursions, island hopping, and transfers from Sorong to the vessel and back.

Our trips range from 3 to 12 days. The most popular options are 3-4 days for a quick getaway, 7-8 days for comprehensive exploration, and 10-12 days for the ultimate experience covering all major regions including Misool, Central Raja Ampat, and the northern islands.

Raja Ampat is home to the world's richest marine biodiversity. You can expect to encounter manta rays, reef sharks, wobbegong sharks, pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs, sea turtles, dolphins, and over 1,500 species of fish across more than 700 species of coral.

Absolutely. Our luxury cruises offer activities suitable for all ages including shallow snorkeling, beach exploration, kayaking, paddleboarding, and wildlife watching. Family cabins are available on our vessels. Children 12 and above can participate in supervised diving.

Essential items include reef-safe sunscreen, lightweight quick-dry clothing, swimwear, rash guards, an underwater camera, personal medications, a waterproof bag for electronics, and comfortable walking shoes for island excursions. Diving equipment rental is available onboard.

Raja Ampat is a remote paradise with limited connectivity. Most areas have minimal to no internet access, which is part of the authentic experience. Some of our luxury vessels offer satellite internet for essential communications. We recommend informing contacts in advance.

Contact us via WhatsApp and our concierge team will assist you with choosing the perfect itinerary, selecting the right vessel for your group, customizing your package, and arranging flights and transfers. We recommend booking 3-6 months in advance for peak season.
